Yesterday, Kyle & I planned to sneak away from our busy corporate work worlds and meet for lunch. turns out we both work in downtown Manhattan with offices just a mere 10 minutes apart. As I was leaving, I told our Administrative Support & she responded, "Oh that is just so cute. I was wondering why you wore a skirt to work today."
I. Am. Guilty. Am I crazy for wanting to purposely & strategically look extra cute to meet my husband for lunch? Am I crazy to get that giddy feeling on my walk over? Am I crazy for feeling like i still just can't get enough of that man? And am I goofy for not being able to wipe that beaming grin from my face the second I saw Kyle clear across the atrium standing by the security until his arms closed around me in a big hug?
Call me just another newlywed, but I feel like the luckiest girl alive.
To be married to Kyle.
To be living in New York City.
To work just 10 short minutes away from the hubs.
And to sneak away every once in a while for a mid-day date. These are the days...

A New Year
Times Square 2 years in a row? Not us! We resisted the urge to bask in the beyond freezing temperatures and joy of standing in crowds of people for 6 hours straight to repeat last year's New Year's.
Afterall, can you really double up on a once in a lifetime event??
Afterall, can you really double up on a once in a lifetime event??
This year, we decided on a much warmer option to celebrate the New Year. Here we are, strolling through Columbia's majestic campus on our way to a New Year's party after a delightful night out with friends at Patsy's, a cute pizza parlor. The food was delicious and the company was great. Isn't the campus so magnificent this time of year with all its lights?
So, welcome 2010! We are definitely excited to make 2010 our best year yet! Hope you all had a happy and wonderful New Year!

in a Winter Wonderland...
12...11...10...9...
Just realized how terrible I was at blogging during the holidays.
Here is the wrap on our 12 Dates of Christmas...so quick i will say it all in one breath...
on the 9th date of Christmas-Ice skated at Bryant Park with friends. The skates were very uncomfortable, but how could you not love the moment...skating under twinkling lights and a big festive tree while classy Christmas tunes rang out over the speakers. By far my favorite outdoor rink here in NYC for the entire experience. Topped the night off with a crepe party at our place...too bad we started so late that we were serving our guests crepes at 12:30 a.m. By the time the last guest left, it was 2 a.m. Super late for us married ones:) I literally collapsed on the couch and cute Kyle spend the next 1 1/2 hours cleaning the apt. How cute is he? I am so lucky.
10-NYC received the biggest snowstorm its had for year. We pulled on our boots and went for a walk in the snow! See photo above...love the fur hood...it keeps me toasty warm!
11-We woke up to WHITE! We took a walk Central Park before church. It was transformed into a frozen Wonderland. That night, we delivered Christmas gifts and caroled to ourselves as we walked...
12-We stayed up wayyy too late packing for our Utah Christmas Vacation!
We LOVED our 12 NYC Dates of Christmas!
